ADMISSION

Admission is FREE, no one will be turned away at the gate for lack of payment. However suggested donations support the event!

Suggested minimum cash or card donation at gate: $10 per person per day; $30 per family per day.

FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

SATURDAY August 22nd

Gates open for Lodge Fest 1 pm to 10pm.

Camping passes will be sold at the gate starting at 1pm, no sooner.
Volunteers will be hard at work preparing the space leading up to 1pm, so please respect this start time.
No early birds please.

Indoor and outdoor activities include: hiking, mountain biking, set up campsites, yoga, massage, silent auction, crafts, quilt raffle, vendors, antiques, live music, food trucks, revelry, and stargazing!

ACTIVITY SCHEDULE

1:00-10:00pm-“The Palouse Divide Lodge: It’s Past, Present, and Future” Exhibit in the historic CCC Cabin.

1:00-10:00pm–Crafting in the Cabin in the Woods (free). Help celebrate the 2026 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree by creating handmade ornaments. Participants are invited to design ornaments that reflect the state’s natural beauty, rich history, diverse wildlife, agricultural traditions, and the unique communities that make Idaho special.

1-7pm—Mölkky Games with Palouse Divide Nordic Club

1:00-5:00pm–WSU Raptor Club is dedicated to raptor conservation and educating the public about these magnificent birds.

1:00-3:00pm–15-Minute Chair Massage Sessions by Rose Garland, LMT inside the Main Lodge (by donation). Sign up sheet on site.

2:00-4:00pm–Group Hike with the Palouse Divide Nordic Ski Club. Enjoy a Forest Hike with friends before the music begins. Meet at the Welcome Table.

2:00-6:00pm–Wildwood Henna outside the Cabin in the Woods (by donation).

2:00pm-9:00pm–Kids Crafts, Lawn Games, and Hands-on Activities with Lenea from Idaho PTV: PBS Education (free)

2:30-3:30 pm–Maitri Yoga with Erin in the Cedar Room, on the 2nd floor of the Main Lodge (by donation)

3:00-7:00pm-Silent Auction for the PDCC in the upstairs Dining Room of the Main Lodge. All proceeds go towards the Palouse Divide Community Co-op (PDCC) start-up costs. Click here to learn more about the PDCC effort.

9:30-10:00pm–Night Yoga Nidra with Erin in the Cedar Room, on the 2nd floor of the Main Lodge (by donation)

9:30pm-11:59pm–Stargazing with the Palouse Astronomical Society

On the Front Porch of the Main Lodge::

4:00-5:00pm–The Chelseas: Opening Lodge Fest 2026, Acoustic Folk band from Moscow, ID. Just singin’ for the love of it.

5:15-7:00pm–The Sultry Swines: World music influenced mainly by rhythms and grooves from Latin America, American Blues, and Rock ‘n Roll. They sure make you move your feet!

7:15-9:00pm–The Hurricane Surfers: lively seven-piece Rock band from Moscow, ID performing originals and covers.

SUNDAY August 23rd

Gates open 8am to 4pm.

Volunteers will be hard at work preparing the space leading up to 8am, so please respect this start time.

9:30am–Mountain Bike Ride with MAMBA. The Moscow Area Mountain Bike Association will lead a 1.5-2 hour group trail ride. Meet at across from the Welcome Table (free)

11:30am-12:15pm—Post Ride/Post Run Stretching and Mobility Maitri Yoga with Erin in the Cedar Room, on the 2nd floor of the Main Lodge (by donation)

1pm + 2pm + 3pm–Calming Energy Reset Sessions with Kristine Petterson in the Cedar Room, on the 2nd floor of the Main Lodge

LIVE MUSIC SCHEDULE

On the Front Porch of the Main Lodge::

10:00am-11:00am–Will Fontaine: Will Fontaine’s Alternative Folk Rock sound—inspired by the likes of Josh Ritter, Incubus, RHCP, and Dave Matthews—combines danceable rhythms and addictive melodies with candid reflections on finding meaning and living with greater purpose. He currently resides in Moscow, ID with his partner and daughter. Check out Will on Bandcamp.

11:15am-12:15pm–Steptoe has been playing Doggone Sophisticated Bluegrass for 25 years, and Von Walden, Tina Hilding, and Paul Hill aren’t sick of each other yet! They take pride and special care with their harmonies and arrangements, and have distilled their song list into NBTB (Nuthin’ But The Best). They like to think they improve with age, and are happy to have found bandmates who can work on a single phrase till the cows come home. Paul Hill is a local luthier and beloved board member of the Palouse Divide Nordic Ski club.

12:30-1:30pm–Frogtown: seven-piece band from Moscow, ID that plays a lively mix of jigs, reels, polka, marches, and waltzes from across the globe.

1:45-2:45pm–Bigger Boat: a cappella quartet from Moscow, ID that performs sea shanties and maritime songs.

3:00-4:00pm–The Chelseas: Closing out Lodge Fest 2026, five-piece acoustic folk band from Moscow, ID. Just singin’ for the love of it.

PARKING

-Please carpool if possible (parking spots are limited)

-A Volunteer will direct you to park in designated parking areas only (see map here); overflow parking may be along the Palouse Divide Lodge Entrance Road, the Palouse Divide Forest Service Road, and across Hwy 6 at the entrance to Dennis Mountain Road.

NOTE: Please park parallel to Forest Service roads only, park pointing towards the exits only, and keep all roadways clear at all times for emergencies.

overnight gear (for campers or indoor Lodge guests)
